Back to back burrito's I know...But yesterdays was so disappointing this was necessary to re-balance my shaken world. What's better than a burrito? A burrito with good company! Me and Marin took off to Senor Burrito with a serious appetite and high expectations. Rated #2 on Insauga's Top 5 Best Burritos, right after the fan favorite Burrito Boyz of course. So lets get into it. After last times disaster I comfortably ordered a chicken/steak burrito. The chicken and beef were both shredded, which gave them a different taste but still very flavorful. They were plentiful with their beans, offering both black and "Spicy" pinto and were cooked down but not re fried. The rice was also perfectly cooked and hefty in portion (Not as much as El Sombrero, but the beans made up for it). Their topping selection was great cause they offered raw onions which I haven't seen at any burrito places yet, and the pico and guacamole were both super fresh tasting. The Burrito was also grilled! Hallelujah!! AND was probably the biggest burrito I've ever had (next to Fat Bastards). Like the lady couldn't roll it, she was too intimidated by its glory. She said it wasn't possible and asked if I wanted to try. Hahah I showed her how it was done! No problem rolling my beauty. Downsides??? The shredded chicken/beef had a sorta taco bell flavor resemblance, but that really wasn't even a big deal. The other thing was that the chicken/steak was so moist, that the juices within the meat were flowing out of the burrito. It was such a dripping mess (See Marin wiping down his forearms). So really only good things to say about Senor Burrito! Definitely one of the best I've ever had! Gotta love that mustache rocking, sombrero wearing, bandanna fitted Burrito mascot. That gets a ✔ all alone.
