So here's a story! Finishing up at Gangster Burger, i'm walking down the streets of T.O full from prviously stuffing my face hole. At this moment, all im thinking about is how full i am, and how I have to be dancing in a club in 20 mins. I already assume I have a front row ticket to the cramp concert already. And sure enough, I come by Fancy Franks.... why universe do you taunt me! I have absolutely ZERO hunger, but sure enough I step inside. I just got too. I'm not one to let a food joint with rave pass me by....or i'm just a fat-ass. ANYWAYS, I go inside fancying a frank. The place has a unique selection in their menu that brings authenticity to the traditional street meat. These dolled up dogs are crafted with everything from Kimchi and Short ribs, to PB&J!? I order for myself the Franky goes to Buffalo; a deep fried frank with blue cheese drizzle, carrots and celery. This was suppose to resemble a buffalo wing, which It did not. It was a good dog, but I feel like they fell short with their creativity here. Thinking that just because you deep fry a hot dog and through on a universal sauce and some garnishing veg is going to make it resemble something else is laziness. They really want to make it taste like a Buffalo Wing, top it with some deep fried chicken skin crackle, really bread up that dog, and smoother it in sauce! Anyways,m they have a bunch of other dogs I would want to try, but not for the price they're sold at... They also sell fresh, house made mini donuts. They were made right in front of us, and nice and hot. We go the Nutella and Biscotti donuts and they were really tastey. Reasonably priced too. I'll come back here for their donuts for sure, and maybe another frank if I got paid that week.
