Still beasting. Still Feasting. Did you miss me!? This chubby face is still shoveling sweet, saucy gluttony down his face hole! Out here in "Pig Out" looking for some boss BBQ out here in Pickering! We opened the doors and we were face fucked with a strong smoke fragrance that instantly turned the faucet on in my mouth. The interior of the joint was littered with pig memorabilia (Piggy banks, posters, statues, etc) really entertaining to sit beside an extensive line of 4 legged orbs with tails and ears as you eat. I ordered the Pulled pork dinner w/ Onion rings and got me some of the Koooooorn Bread for dessert. First thing to do when you get your food here is wait. The smell of the restaurant and the aesthetics of the food make you want to dive right in. But everything is super fresh and cooked to order, your gonna burn your mouth like I did diving into your meat mountain and your forest fries. Once you've waited for what feels like a million years, you may than prong yourself a hearty forkful of some sweet, saucy, tender pulled pork. The pork was very good, not the best Ive had but still super tender. The flavor of it was incredibly smoky. The sauce they used I felt was a little weak. I added a little bit of ketchup to the sauce and it make it so much better. Maybe they forgot ketchup in this BBQ sauce batch I had... because it was missing something for sure. The Onion rings were great, same with the sweet potato fries! The onion rings had great crunch to them and a thick batter, but I would have liked a thicker onion slice too. Whats the point of an onion ring if you're gonna skimp on the onion aspect. The coleslaw was good, adding it to the pulled pork was a great texture complement and added some extra sourness to the sweet sauce over the pork. Now the Koooooooooooorrrrn Breeead. Here's one way to describe it... =( That basically sums it up. I LOVE CORN BREAD, and although they made the single loft to ordrer, and came out nice and warm... it was very dry. I was like a honey comb on the inside, and I found myself having to dip it in gravy in order to eat. Which actually made it all the better, but I would have like the corn bread to stand out more alone. To be honest, Montana's corn bread is the bomb ;D That's what i'm comparing it too. The crew got pulled chicken sandwiches which they all agreeed were great, and they also got some smoothies too (two flavors, chocolate and vanilla) which were the longest things ever to make. I swear, it was like they were milking the cow in the back after we ordered... they said they were good, i thought they could have used a little more salt to bring out the sweetness more. Anyways Pig Out delivered great, BBQ. These boys know how to smoke a pig, but need to aim higher on their sauces.
