When you find yet an individual who lifts like a colossal God and is as big a foodie as you, its like finding your "sizeamese twin"! And a long awaited reunion should be celebrated properly by what else than a food adventure! With her foodepedia know-how, I knew I was dining with a an individual who holds an appreciative palate for the Beast and Feast mainstream. The Rosedale DINER wad our hit, seen on Diners. Drive-ins and Dives, it was time to hit one up recommend by frosty tips himself. This little Diner cpuld not have been more delightful in its ambiance. A coffee bistro took up half the restaurant giving off the impression is was not much more than just a Java joint, but there kitchen in the back whipping out some bona-fide fried bird over top waffles was something you wouldn't expect to find. Duck poutine on the menu too?? 😰 it's a shame we were on that brunch hour otherwise I may have had my last meal there, dieing and going to heaven. Me and the bruh both got the chicken and waffle (obviously). The waffles were light and fluffy but I would have done better with a full sized waffle on my plate. If you're ordering chicken and waffles...presentation does not need to be over thought here. The chicken was crisp-tastical! It was browned to that level of a dark caramel! tasting sweet and salty and the chicken inside moist and juicy. A couple of knock off berries and grapefruit on the plate was cute but honestly did nothing for me lol. An luckily they only portioned us with a small vessel of syrup and Chipotle mayo to allow us to stay within reasonable saucing and pouring limits.
The service was wicked, the food was bomb and the gains were explosive. Good times with Claire and already anticipating the next spot we conquer 💪
