Brining my foodieism to a whole other level! My very first timed eating challenge! I've never considered myself to be competitive eating material, but I eat like a fat ass so u figured I had a good chance going into this! The challenge was "The Go Chuck Yourself" Challenge at Holy Chucks in Toronto. The challenge was a burger with six patties, six slices of cheese, triple bacon, caramelized onions all between three grilled cheese sandwiches. Additionally a thick Milkshake of your choice was to be guzzle down with the burger behemoth, all under six minutes. The challenge was cake! Well... burger and shake more so, buy I inhaled everything in 3:40. Giving me a place of their wall of triumph and a Go Chuck Yourself Shirt! Now, despite me sprint fisting chunks of patty down my food hole I was still able to appreciate the quality of Holy Chucks burger! When I took that very first bite, the burger nearly fell apart in my hands. The lack of integrity from the patty proved that their burgers are 100% freshly ground beef. The flavor of the meat was spot on too, it was grissley, greasy goodness! For all that meat, it was necessary to have all that cheese too. Like burger priest the cheese just melted, and infused into the burger. There bacon wasn't very thick (thankfully for my sake during the challenge) but it was very, very flavorful. Many places serve bacon that tastes like it's premature of its bacon flavor, or they dry the shit out of it. With so much going on in the burger, and all the greasy, fatty components, that bacon was still able to cut through and stand out in every bite. Didn't really taste the caramelized onions to be honest, but they weren't even missed. The hardest thing about the challenge was the three grilled cheese sandwiches. I've made my statement clear that grilled cheese buns is a ingenuous idea! But it did pose conflict when trying to swallow so much bread. Thank God for that milkshake! It was absolutely delicious. Didn't really taste very Nutella like, mostly just passed for a chocolate Salted Caramel shake. Wasn't overly thick, and was perfect to have with the burger!

Holy Chucks is definitely the best burger I've had to date. I will surely go back to try more of their intriguing menu and pace myself on the next time around. The challenge was a fun experience, but too bad it mangles your wallet (30$). Still it creates a memory and you won't need to eat again for the rest of the day.
